Introduction  |  | | ?A total of 22 geological periodicals have been sponsored or co-sponsored by the Geological Society of China, among which the Acta Geologica Sinica (English), Acta Geologica Sinica (Chinese), Geological Review sponsored by GSC, as witness of development of Chinese geology, are among the most famous and highest-level geosciences publications, from which almost all significant discoveries in the Chinese geological community can find their source, enjoying a high reputation at home and abroad in geosciences field. The above-mentioned three periodicals have been awarded such honorary titles as National Periodicals Award, the first prize of National Sci-tech Periodicals Award, Double-Award, Double-Effect, Double-Hundred Periodical, Top Hundred Outstanding Periodicals, Excellence Award of Outstanding Sci-tech Periodicals in China, High Quality Sci-tech Periodicals in China, China’s Most Internationally Influential Scientific Journals for many times, and are respectively included in more than 30 databases such as SCI, EI, Scopus, CA, GeoRef, Wanfang Data, Tongfang Data and CNKI. Acta Geologica Sinica (English), Acta Geologica Sinica (Chinese), Geological Review have received funding from the Project for Enhancing International Impact of China STM Journals of China Association for Science and Technology, Ascent Plan Project, Chinese Sci-tech Periodicals Excellence Plan Project, Program of Chinese Sci-tech Periodicals Quality Construction, Academic Quality Improvement Program and so on. |
